CBD Vape Dosage: How Do You Know How Much to Inhale?

Vaping can be an effective way to get CBD into your system fast, but how often should you vape CBD each day?
Vaping – it’s discreet enough for when out in public, it’s fast acting, and you can closely control how much CBD you’re taking in each day.
Vaporization has radically changed the way people get their daily CBD. The CBD community and many health-conscious consumers around the world have already chosen vaping as their method of choice for getting their CBD.
Here we explore how to vape CBD, the advantages of vaping CBD, and how to know how much CBD to vape each day.
What is CBD?
Cannabidiol or CBD is one of the most exciting wellness compounds available today, and people are discovering the many benefits it can provide them when vaped.
CBD is a cannabinoid, a class of over 100 chemical compounds present in the cannabis plant, including marijuana and hemp. Found throughout the cannabis plant, CBD can be extracted from the plant as part of its cannabis oil.
This oil can then be processed into a number of CBD supplements, like capsules, tinctures, and even vapes, that can be used to boost the body’s ability to maintain balance. When CBD oil is extracted from low-THC hemp, the resulting products are non-psychoactive and safe to use by everyone

How Do You Vape CBD?
Vaporizing has quickly emerged as a preferred method for CBD consumption among health-conscious consumers. Vaporizers are personal devices that heat CBD oil to its vaporization point. This process produces a pure clean vapor that you can safely inhale to quickly absorb the natural health benefits of CBD oil.
Medical Marijuana, Inc.’s Dixie Botanicals® brand provides a number of products that can be vaped or dabbed (a method of flash vaporization of CBD concentrates). These products include the brand’s Dab Oil and CBD Isolate.
Advantages to Vaping CBD
Taking a CBD capsule is great, but the effects can take an hour or more to manifest. CBD tinctures are faster acting, but some users don’t prefer the taste. Vaping is a fast, compact, great tasting way to get small doses of CBD throughout the day.
When CBD is vaporized, it is heated by the vape pen’s heating element, turning it into a vapor. This vapor is then inhaled, where the CBD in the vapor is absorbed by the lungs and enters the bloodstream, bypassing digestion and metabolization by the liver. This means that the CBD is able to spread throughout the body faster and more efficiently to interact with the endocannabinoid system and its cannabinoid receptors.
Vaporizing devices make it easy and convenient to take small “hits” or inhales of CBD vapor throughout the day. Many vape pens are small, discreet tools designed to covertly vaporize CBD. Because the vapor disperses quickly after being inhaled and produces minimal smell, you can use them virtually anywhere without disturbing those around you.
The small size of most vape pens also makes it easy to take your CBD with you wherever you go for easy access while on-the-move.

How Much CBD Should I Vape?
“How much CBD oil should I vape?” It is a common question we hear from those interested in adding CBD to their system each day. Recommending a specific starting point is pretty tough since each individual is different.
The FDA, the agency responsible for setting recommended daily intake (RDI) levels for supplements, has not yet done so. Because Medical Marijuana, Inc. follows all FDA guidelines, we do not set an RDI of our own for CBD. You may find that the amount of CBD that is right for you is a personal decision and that your ideal CBD number is different from others.
If you are unsure what your ideal CBD number is, start low at around 20 or 30 mg a day. Then add more each day or so until you feel comfortable with your daily CBD levels. CBD is non-toxic and well tolerated in daily doses up to 1,500 mg, so even at high doses, you can feel confident in your choice to vape CBD.
Besides convenience, vape pens can also deliver accurate serving sizes, but only once you determine how many puffs you get per cartridge.
Buying a disposable cartridge with a standard CBD content ensures you’re getting a measured dose of CBD oil each time.
As a quick reference, if it takes you 100 puffs to get through a 100-milligram cartridge that is 1 milliliter, you would be getting 1 mg of CBD in each inhale. This, of course, assumes that all inhales from the pen are the same and that you take exactly 100 hits.
Another way to think of the equation is like this. Using a 100 mg cartridge, see how many days it takes you to finish. Divide 100 mg by the number of days to figure out on average how many milligrams of CBD you get each day.
Regardless of how much CBD you decide is right for you, vaping can be a quick, discreet, fast acting way to add CBD to your system whenever you need it.
